Trivia
- Has 10 texture variants.
- There are two subcategories, male and female, in the same mob.
- Males and females have no visual differences, and the highest probability is that a lone male will spawn first in the world, followed by a herd with some females. A group of females may also spawn.
- They can peck blocks randomly.
- Females will sometimes scratch grass blocks, podzol, and other dirt blocks to have a chance to dig for worms. If it is rainy (in the mob's location), they tend to dig much more frequently, and the chance of obtaining worms increases by up to 200%, the amount of looted worms is also amplified.
- Females of this species tend to follow a male leader of the herd, if they find one within a maximum radius of 16 blocks.
- Guineafowls will avoid nearby players, running away.
- When escaping from a player, she has a small chance of dropping 0 to 2 guineafowl feathers.
- They can be tamed, and the only function of a tamed guineafowl is to trust the player, she will not run away if she notices the presence of her owner nearby.
- Every 5 to 20 minutes, a female may try to find a nearby nest to lay her eggs, and will repeat this until she has laid a limit of 3 eggs per nest.
- They cannot breed, a male will sometimes look for nests with at least 3 eggs to fertilize them.
